We like to stay pretty relaxed about things here at Delightful Dandy’s but like any business we have a legal obligation to look after the interests of ourselves, and our clients.
1. BOOKING, OUR CONTRACT AND PAYMENTS
1.1 These are the terms and conditions on which we take bookings for Delightful Dandys.
1.2 Please ensure that you read these Terms carefully, and check that the details on your booking are complete and accurate, before you submit your booking. If you think that there is a mistake or you require any changes, please contact us to discuss. We will confirm any changes in writing to avoid any confusion between you and us.
1.3 When you submit your booking enquiry to us, this does not mean we have accepted your booking. In order to confirm your chosen booking, you must pay a non-
1.4 Your Booking is confirmed when we receive payment of the deposit (or full payment of the cost of your booking if booking within 6 weeks of the date of your check-
1.5 If we are unable to accommodate your booking request, we will inform you of this [in writing] and we will not process your booking.
1.6 These Terms will become binding on you and us when we issue you with written confirmation of your booking at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us.
1.7 Payments can be made by PayPal or bank transfer. A 2.5% booking charge will be added to payment made via PayPal.
1.8 Where a deposit has been paid, full balance payment will be due 6 weeks in advance of your check in date. If we have not received payment within two weeks after the balance due date, then with regret, we may cancel your booking and you will lose your deposit.
1.9 We require a £150 breakages deposit against breakages, extra cleaning, loss or damage to the Dandy camper to be paid with the balance 6 weeks in advance of your check in. This deposit less any charges to make good breakages, extra cleaning loss or damage will be returned within 5 days following an inspection of the Dandy Camper.
2. CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENT BY YOU
2.1 Any cancellation or amendment request must be sent to us by email (firstname.lastname@example.org). You are also advised to confirm all changes by phone 01258 451308 or 07714 256051. Please ensure that you have received written confirmation of any changes to your booking prior to travel. Whilst we will always try to help, we cannot guarantee that such requests will be met.
2.2 Cancellation by you at any time will result in your £100 deposit being forfeited, as all deposits are non-

2.4 Alterations to your booking can only be made more than 6 weeks prior to the check in date, after such time alterations will be treated as cancellation. All alterations are subject to availability.
2.5 Differences in the total amount payable resulting from alterations will be refunded to you in the case of a decrease in price and paid by you in the case of increases in price.
3. CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS BY THE OWNER
We will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if for any reason we need to make a significant change to your confirmed arrangements or to cancel them. In the case of a cancellation your deposit and any other balance paid will be returned to you in full.
We reserve the right to amend advertised prices at any time. We also reserve the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices. Special note: changes and errors sometimes occur. Once you have booked and it has been confirmed by us we will not change the price unless it is necessary because you seek to change your booking.
5. INFORMATION & ACCURACY
The information and prices shown on this website may have changed by the time you come to make your booking. Although we make every possible effort to ensure the accuracy of the website information and prices at the time of printing, regrettably errors do occasionally occur. You must therefore ensure you check the price and all other details of your chosen booking with us at the time of booking.
6. PROVISION OF ACCOMMODATION
6.1 We will provide the accommodation to you as detailed in the booking confirmation.
6.3 A welcome pack will be included in each of our Dandy campers. You are requested to please comply with the guidance and instructions given in the welcome pack and operation of the Dandy camper, its equipment and the facilities available at the campsite and to pay particular attention to the safety instructions. The site is in a rural location and there are therefore a number of natural hazards, such as tree roots, wet grass etc of which you should be aware and take appropriate steps for the safety and enjoyment of your party.
6.4 In the unlikely event that there is any defect with the Dandy camper or facilities at the campsite:
(a) please contact us and tell us as soon as reasonably possible;
(b) please give us or and the campsite reasonable opportunity to fix any defect; and
(c) we will use every effort to fix the defect as soon as reasonably practicable.
A maximum of 2 dogs at any time during your stay, dogs should be kept outside of the Dandy camper at all times.
You are strongly recommended to take out personal travel insurance for all members of your party. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance you purchase is adequate and appropriate for your particular needs. Please read your policy details and take them with you on holiday.
9. SPECIAL REQUESTS
9.1 If you have special requests or needs, you are responsible for advising us at the time of booking, although we cannot guarantee that any requests will be met. Failure to meet special requests will not be a breach of contract. It is your responsibility to satisfy yourself that the Dandy camper is completely suitable for your needs. Please note that if a particular requirement is not specified on the Website then it is not provided.
10.1 We take your safety very seriously; all of our Dandy campers are fitted with at least one smoke detector, which is not to be tampered with. Please note that we operate a Strictly NO SMOKING inside the Dandy camper. The campsites allow barbeques and fires to be lit, these should be a kept a safe distance from the Dandy camper and under no circumstances should barbeques be used in the Dandy camper or awning/gazebo where provided
11. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
11.1 If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of the Terms or our negligence, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of our breach or if it was contemplated by you and us at the time we entered into this contract.
11.2 We only supply the accommodation for private use and therefore, unless we have otherwise agreed you agree not to use the Dandy camper for any commercial or business purpose. We shall have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
11.3 We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability for:
(a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
11.4 We do not accept liability for loss or damage to articles left by you in or brought by you into the accommodation or the campsite unless we are at fault. Nor do we accept liability for vehicles which are parked or left by you at the campsites which are at your own risk unless we are at fault.
11.5 We do not accept liability for any loss, damage cost or claim which you may suffer where it arises as a consequence of your failure to comply with instructions or guidance provided by us in connection with use of the Dandy camper and its equipment or campsite and its facilities.
12. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
12.1 We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these Terms that is caused by an Event Outside Our Control.
12.2 An Event Outside Our Control means any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation strikes, lock-
12.3 If an Event Outside Our Control takes place that affects the performance of our obligations under these Terms:
(a) We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you; and
(b) Our obligations under these Terms will be suspended and we will liaise with you as to how best to proceed given the circumstances.
12.4 You may cancel the contract if an Event Outside Our Control takes place and we can no longer provide the accommodation you have booked. In that case we will refund any sums you have paid to book the accommodation. We will only cancel the contract if the Event Outside Our Control means we are unable to provide the accommodation you have booked in accordance with your booking and in that case we will refund any monies paid by you.
13.1 Either of us shall be entitled at any time by giving written notice to the other to terminate the contract if the other shall be in material breach of the contract.
13.2 We may require you to leave the Dandy camper and campsite and terminate your booking if in our reasonable opinion or that of the campsite you are causing any nuisance, damage, disturbance, annoyance or inconvenience to other guests or third parties or to us and our staff. In such circumstances, we will be under no liability to you in respect of any refund of the booking price or compensation for any costs or damage which may be incurred by you and you agree to indemnify us against any claim by any other guest or third party as a result of any nuisance, damage, disturbance, annoyance or inconvenience you have caused.
14. HOW WE MAY USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
14.1 We will use the personal information you provide to us to:
(a) provide the accommodation you have booked;
(b) process your payment for such accommodation; and
(c) inform you about similar services that we provide, but you may stop receiving these at any time by contacting us.
14.2 We will not give your personal data to any third party.
15. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms and conditions have been drafted in accordance with and are governed by English law.
